The garage control system from Novoferm can therefore be easily integrated into the most common (and all available free of charge) apps, such as the Homematic IP app from eQ-3, the SmartHome app from Innogy or the TYDOM app from Delta Dore, in a self-configuring manner. The additional hardware required is a plug-in module from Novoferm and a SmartHome control centre from the respective provider.

This allows you to find out, in a test run so to speak, whether the user-friendliness and functionality of the selected app meet your expectations. The other functions can then be easily activated for all standard products on the market. In addition, Novoferm's system openness guarantees that the garage door control unit can be easily added to existing SmartHome systems. Novoferm operators can be integrated into existing SmartHome systems in just a few simple steps - the operator simply needs to be fitted with the relevant plug-in module developed by Novoferm for this purpose.
Just as the apps make it possible to control and programme heating, air conditioning systems, lamps, alarm systems or roller shutters and awnings via any touchscreen, they also provide easy access to the status and all functions of the garage door control system. The gesture-controlled and intuitive operation of the apps makes it possible, for example, to check the door status from any location and control the garage door open or close the garage door. In addition, operator lighting, garage ventilation or other sectional doors can also be controlled via smartphone or tablet PC - and of course Novoferm operators also "obey" voice control if the app developers have integrated it.
All Novoferm operators (NovoPort®, Novomatic 423 and Novomatic 563 S) manufactured from 2016 onwards are SmartHome-capable. All Novoferm sectional garage doors can be integrated - for location-independent control, Novoferm's standard force limiter and protection by a light barrier are required.
