BAU 2015 is an important date for the Federal Building Minister: The more than 2,000 exhibitors at the world's leading construction trade fair in Munich provide a comprehensive overview of technical, energy-related and, of course, economic trends in all segments of the construction industry. Despite this wide range of products, Federal Minister Dr Barbara Hendricks took plenty of time during her tour to visit the Novoferm stand: After all, the internationally successful and technologically leading manufacturer of doors, gates, frames and drive technology has been firmly rooted in the Lower Rhine region for decades and is based in the Minister's constituency.
Of course, the Minister also received interesting technical and economic information at the Novoferm stand - one of the largest at the trade fair, covering 820 square metres. Rainer Schackmann, CEO of Novoferm, gave her a brief overview of the international importance of medium-sized German companies in the construction industry, the development of domestic demand and, of course, Novoferm's latest innovations. Security aspects, such as a completely new generation of fire protection doors for Europe, but also energy efficiency issues, for example with high-tech industrial doors, were discussed.industrial doorswere also of particular interest to the Minister.
The company's creative trade fair stand concept proved particularly helpful here: the stand architecture, which was accessible from all sides, staged five real-life worlds in which visitors could experience the products directly in a real installation situation in order to immediately understand their concrete added value. In living environments such as "Parking", "Office" or "Health", visitors can experience - virtually hands-on - how modern solutions for doors and gates can contribute to improving the quality of living, the city and the quality of life. CEO Rainer Schackmann was delighted with the keen interest shown by the Federal Minister at the trade fair stand: "It's great to be able to build on our common roots in the Lower Rhine region and have such an open and engaging dialogue with the Minister. A very welcome visit."
