New high-speed doors
Safe and in line with market requirements
Werth, January 2019. Novoferm is once again expanding its range of high-speed doors. As one of Europe's leading system suppliers of doors, gates, frames and operators, Novoferm is thus meeting the changing and, above all, growing demands of customers for greater efficiency, security and customised solutions. To this end, new products are being added to the high-speed door segment step by step. High-speed doors from Novoferm impress with their high opening speeds, are already equipped with light curtain systems as standard in many cases and are supplied in a new design.
Logisticians throughout Europe are striving for ever faster and smoother processes; they still see potential for optimisation in loading situations in particular. Novoferm's research and development department has analysed the requirements throughout Europe and, with the new NovoFold, has also continuously ensured that different requirements are met at the highest level. The folding door is an innovative solution for closing large openings in the industrial sector. The NovoFold uses straps to open and close the door system and consists of a PVC curtain (900 g/m²), which is available in 9 different colours. It is equipped with steel wind reinforcements in special pockets that give the door system particularly good wind resistance. This makes it possible to achieve a wind load of up to class 5. With the NovoFold, the Novoferm Group offers an extremely reliable product.
At the same time, the new NovoZip for indoor use will be presented. A flexible and self-repairing PVC high-speed door and therefore the ideal solution for fast and heavily frequented passageways. A door that saves valuable energy thanks to its very high tightness.
The high-speed doors from Novoferm are orientated towards the increasing demands for speed, work safety, variety, ease of installation and maintenance as well as design. This is achieved, among other things, by an opening speed of 1.5 - 2.0 m/s as well as standard light grids to increase work safety.
