Werth, March 2018 : Novoferm is further expanding its position in the UK market. With the signing of the share certificates, the Novoferm Group, one of Europe's leading system suppliers of doors, gates, frames and operators, has acquired 100 per cent of the shares in the growing service company Bolton Gate Services (BGS). BGS specialises in the maintenance, repair and servicing of industrial doors and loading systems and will be integrated into the existing Novoferm UK Ltd organisation under the leadership of Jeremy Baker, Managing Director of Novoferm UK Ltd.
BGS provides a 24-hour emergency repair service to industrial and commercial customers and has built up a strong position in the UK market since it was established in 1998. In 2016, the northern English company with 120 employees at 15 locations achieved a turnover of around £10 million. For Novoferm, the acquisition is an important step in the ongoing expansion of the Novoferm Group's pan-European activities. BGS has grown steadily in recent years thanks to its customer-orientated range of services and has positioned itself on the British market as a fast and qualified service provider.
By integrating BGS into the Novoferm Group, Novoferm will be able to provide both existing BGS customers and UK Novoferm customers even better with all services relating to the maintenance and repair of industrial doors and loading systems. BGS's round-the-clock service in particular is becoming increasingly important in times of tightly synchronised and coordinated processes. Novoferm is thus creating the best conditions for further growth in the UK.
