New tools from Novoferm speed up work processes / Simplified commissioning of Novoferm door systems
Whether for measuring, installation, commissioning or maintenance - the new, mobile digital tools and services from Novoferm significantly simplify processes on site. This applies both on the construction site and in the property. As one of Europe's leading system providers of door and gate solutions as well as loading and logistics systems, Novoferm will be presenting numerous new digital solutions at BAU 2023 that will provide construction and project managers, technicians, fitters and facility managers with concrete additional benefits.
New app shortens order processing and measurement
With the NovoSite app, Novoferm is presenting a new tool that makes work considerably easier for site managers, project managers, technicians and measurement technicians. With the app, technical clarification can be prepared easily and clearly and measurements can be carried out particularly efficiently. NovoSite automatically creates the order, commission and item lists and links the stored floor plan with the respective products. Another particularly practical and time-saving feature is the ability to use the new app to plan measurement routes on the construction site in advance. In conjunction with Bluetooth distance meters, the measured dimensions can also be digitally transferred to the app and automatically compared with the plan dimensions, which not only saves time but also reduces the error rate and therefore potential follow-up costs. Exporting the measurement data and floor plans also simplifies further processing. The NovoSite app will be launched on the market in the second quarter of 2023.
Use the QR code on the construction site
Another new feature is the NovoInstall app, which shows facility managers and fitters, among others, all the data for the respective building element - from the order data to configuration details - directly on the construction site. All they have to do is scan the QR code on the Novoferm component with their smartphone.
Commissioning door systems becomes easier
"We make your business easier" - Novoferm fulfils this promise with a newly developed app for installation and service. It simplifies the installation of industrial and garage doors as well as the adjustment of control units for installers on site. The door systems can be commissioned step-by-step with the tablet, guided by menus. The app also allows faults to be analysed quickly. In addition, the app automatically synchronises with the new service dashboard for logistics operators so that they can see the installer's setting parameters at a glance at any time. Novoferm will launch both digital tools in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Expansion of the Novoferm extranet and new U-value calculator
All specialist target groups have quick access to all Novoferm documents, information and tools at any time via the extranet (www.novoferm-extranet.de). A new feature is the personal favourites area, with which documents can now be favoured, grouped and distributed even more easily. The new U-value calculator, which can be used to easily calculate the heat transfer coefficient for Novoferm sectional garage doors, can be accessed directly from the extranet.
Quick help on the building site, during planning and at customer appointments
The popular NovoDocu app gives installers, specialist dealers and architects quick and convenient access to all Novoferm documents at any time. Selected documents from Novoferm partners GEZE, dormakaba and ECO Schulte are also available. This means that product data sheets, videos, connection plans and CAD drawings, among other things, can be called up at the construction site, during planning and in consultations with just one click and easily shared if required.
Experience digital tools live at BAU
At BAU 2023 in Munich, Novoferm will be showcasing its diverse digital solutions at the Multimedia Tower on its stand (Hall B3, Stand 339). Visitors can familiarise themselves with and try out the intuitive tools on site.
