New Novoferm steel frame doors for interior use

Tubular frame doors are often the first choice for increased requirements in terms of building security and aesthetics due to their robustness and elegance. Novoferm is now expanding its tubular frame door segment and adding the NovoFire Steel steel frame doors to the NovoFire range. The steel smoke and fire protection system scores with a fire resistance duration of 30 minutes and at the same time offers an architecturally sophisticated solution for commercial buildings. The doors are based on a modular system that enables an even wider range of variants in the new steel version.
Diversity in equipment
As one of the leading European system providers of door and gate solutions as well as loading and logistics systems, Novoferm has been producing two new steel tubular frame doors with its own components in Germany since this year. As the licence holder, the company has developed a wide range of equipment components for the elegant door model. These include the newly developed, maintenance-free, two-dimensional weld-on hinges and a variety of different glazing options. This is complemented by a tested lock programme that ranges from regular single-latch bolt locks and multi-point locks to self-locking panic locks. In addition, the automation of the doors with several systems has been tested and approved.
Product line in two versions
The new product line is available in two versions: NovoFire Steel RS and NovoFire Steel T30. The NovoFire Steel RS is characterised by stable steel profiles with a construction depth of 65 mm and a material thickness of 1.8 mm, making it a reliable system. Thanks to a specially developed multifunctional groove, fittings can be installed quickly using a clamping plate ¬and fine adjustment of the fittings is also possible at any time later. The hole pattern in the functional groove also facilitates installation and adhesive-free assembly of the smoke protection elements.
The NovoFire Steel T30 also offers a number of practical details with the same installation depth. The multifunctional groove also makes it easy to attach different fittings. A perforated structure in the profile groove minimises warping and guarantees dimensional stability in the event of fire. There is plenty of scope for design in terms of appearance: glazing and glazing beads can be combined with each other in numerous variants and enable a customised, harmonious overall appearance.
While the new NovoFire Steel RS smoke protection door is available immediately, the T30 fire protection door will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2023.
