Maximum energy efficiency, extremely quiet running and flawless design
Werth, January 2019. Modern garages have long been more than just storage rooms for vehicles. They are seen by owners as a fully-fledged part of the house and should therefore fulfil the highest functional, qualitative and aesthetic standards: In an energy-efficient house, the garage must not be a heat pocket, the operating noise must not disturb the living comfort and, of course, the garage should incorporate and support the design line of the building. At BAU 2019, Novoferm will be presenting the iso 70 Premium Plus, a garagesectional doorthat sets new standards in all three areas - energy efficiency, quiet running and design. This high-end solution can be further enhanced by the newly developed Novoferm light barrier and integration into SmartHome systems.
Particularly with garages integrated into the building envelope, door noises or even slight vibrations or shocks can be unpleasant and impair living comfort. Not so with the iso 70 Premium Plus: the standard tandem rollers of the new sectional door guarantee extremely smooth door movement when opening and closing, ensuring that the door runs exceptionally quietly.
However, the Premium Plus solution from Novoferm not only impresses with its design strengths. It literally looks good too, both from the inside and the outside. The inside of the door has a neat and uniform appearance, as the door leaf, hinges and profiles are harmoniously coated in RAL 9016. This "traffic white" colour is often used inside the house due to its discreet effect, e.g. for light switches, sockets or window frames.
Novoferm once again offers a particularly wide range of design options for the exterior. Both the modern, contemporary "large bead" motif and the timelessly elegant "large louvre" with its smooth Noblesse surface can be combined with the various designs from Novoferm's wide range of designs. There is a choice of all satin surfaces as well as the "warm" wooden surfaces; and of course Novoferm also supplies the iso 70 Premium Plus in all preferred colours or painted in the customer's preferred RAL colour. The installation of glass windows is of course possible without any problems and without significantly impairing energy efficiency - Novoferm uses tried and tested triple glazing for all window sizes and formats.
The design features of the iso 70 ensure convenient operation and a particularly long service life for this top-class door. The engineers at Novoferm have also always focussed on personal safety: As standard, the sectional door is equipped with finger trap protection on both the outside and inside of the new thermally separated panels. Whether the door is controlled by hand-held transmitter on approach or by smartphone from a greater distance, the photocell reliably detects whether objects or people are obstructing the operation of the door or could even jeopardise it. Installation and commissioning of the light barrier are as simple as they are self-explanatory: no screws are required, the correct installation position is ensured by the holes in the frame and, once installed, Novoferm operators automatically recognise the light barrier.
