Novoferm strengthens its operational leadership at European level
Rouven Vierfuß takes on Europe-wide responsibility at Novoferm as COO
Novoferm, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of door and gate solutions and loading systems, has reorganised its operational leadership. Since 1 September 2026, Rouven Vierfuß has been Chief Operating Officer (COO), with responsibility for the Novoferm Group’s manufacturing companies in Europe. His remit includes production, logistics, quality assurance and procurement, as well as the strategic development of these business areas as part of the ‘One Novoferm Initiative’.
Prior to joining Novoferm, the graduate industrial engineer spent more than 15 years in various national and international management roles at the premium domestic appliance manufacturer Miele. Most recently, as Managing Director, he was responsible for the Ovens product category within the Cooking business unit and managed a central production and development site with around 660 employees. His key areas of focus included improving operational performance, further developing products and processes, the digitalisation of industrial value chains, and the implementation of lean management approaches across the international production network.
Driving forward operational excellence and digitalisation
As part of his new role, Rouven Vierfuß will drive forward the further integration of the European production sites and the consistent implementation of operational excellence in line with the ‘One Novoferm’ philosophy. Customers will benefit from greater delivery and process reliability, uniform quality standards, and faster, more transparent order processing. At the same time, closer cross-site collaboration enables a more efficient use of capacity and resources, which has a positive impact on delivery times, costs and service quality.
