With an exhibition stand of 820m2, Novoferm was the third largest exhibitor at the world's leading trade fair BAU, which took place in Munich from 17 to 22 April 2023 for the first time after a four-year break due to the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to over 190,000 trade visitors from all over the world, the Federal Ministry of Building also used the trade fair to find out about Novoferm product innovations.
Bettina Stinner, Technical Government Director at the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction, was particularly interested in energy-saving solutions and improvements in the areas of thermal insulation, security and installation during her visit to the trade fair. As one of Europe's largest system suppliers of door and gate solutions and loading systems, Novoferm was able to present a range of innovations.
The visit from the Ministry was particularly impressed by the sustainable Novoferm solutions in the industrial sector. Here too, the topic of thermal insulation is becoming increasingly important for ecological and economic reasons. With thermally separated industrial doors in various section thicknesses, wicket doors, digital planning tools and a new, energy-saving DC drive, Novoferm ensures a significantly better energy balance and performance of its industrial solutions.
Novoferm was founded in 1955 on the Lower Rhine and has been part of the Japanese Sanwa Group (owned by Sanwa Holdings Corporation) since 2003. The Novoferm Group manufactures at various locations in Europe and distributes products to many countries around the world via numerous national companies and sales partners. Novoferm employs over 3,500 people.
