Novoferm will not be exhibiting at BAU 2025. The company has made this decision after careful consideration. As one of Europe's largest system providers of door and gate solutions and loading systems, the company has decided to focus its resources even more strongly on other communication formats in future in order to reach its target groups even better.
Customer feedback was the deciding factor
Novoferm has been exhibiting at BAU, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems, for many years. "We feel a close connection to Messe München," says Rainer Schackmann, CEO of Novoferm. "Nevertheless, the presentation at BAU has become less attractive for the company for various reasons."
In addition to the sharp drop in visitors from 250,000 to 190,000, well-known manufacturers were already missing at this year's BAU. Furthermore, discussions with trade visitors showed that more personal and targeted approaches and presentations will be favoured in future. Another decisive factor for Novoferm is the information and purchasing behaviour of customers, which has changed significantly in recent years, particularly as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and the digital transformation.
Focus on a more targeted customer approach
Novoferm will be exploring new, more effective ways of communicating with customers and presenting products in future. "We will align our marketing strategies even more closely with customer wishes for a more personalised approach and innovative formats," emphasises Schackmann. "Customers can look forward to more intensive contact and individual dialogue via various platforms. For example, the needs-based presentation of our products and services at events with an experiential character will play a greater role."
Novoferm is also planning to adapt the type of communication for the presentation of the digital service modules even more closely to the needs of customers in order to present the digital solutions in a targeted and holistic manner along the process chain - from sales to the construction site to after-sales service.
