This starts with the finish. Hot-dip galvanised sheet metal and a base coat of electrostatic polyester-based stove enamel provide the door with double protection against corrosion. The door leaf frame, block frame, guide rails, lever arms and all other components are also galvanised. Torsion-resistant, continuously welded frame corners and hollow frame profiles with cross struts ensure maximum stability. And because we are convinced of the durability of this design, we give a 10-year guarantee.

The Novoferm up-and-over door with operator is equipped with a self-monitoring automatic switch-off system. As soon as the door encounters an obstacle when closing, regardless of whether it is an object or a person, it stops and opens immediately at the slightest resistance.

The Novoferm up-and-over door with operator and triple locking (incl. BDIP rail) protects your property according to the safe principle. Locking on both sides by solid bolts in the frame, additional locking by self-locking of the operator at the top edge of the door leaf.

Specially designed lever arm bearings make it easy to open and close your door - conveniently by hand or even more conveniently with an electric operator.

4. maximum functional reliability
Powerful triple tension spring assemblies ensure "feather-light" ease of use with maximum safety: even if a spring were to break, it could not jump away because it is firmly screwed in at the top and bottom. In addition, the remaining springs would hold the door securely in place.

5. additional property protection
The floor-independent horizontal locking mechanism with solid bolts in the side frames is tamper-proof because it cannot be reached from the outside, even with tools.

With a pigmented final glaze, which is indispensable after installation, you can not only optimally protect the doors against the effects of weather and UV rays, but also colour them at the same time. Novoferm solid wood doors are only made from carefully selected Nordic spruce from controlled tree populations. Nordic spruce is popular as construction and furniture wood due to its inviting light colour and predominantly straight grain. The typical twisted grain makes each door unique.
