STAHLTÜREN NEWPORT PREMIUM

MULTIFUNCTIONAL STEEL DOORS IN HIGH-QUALITY THICK REBATE FOR ALL REQUIREMENTS

The NovoPorta Premio is the steel door generation for Europe. Its wide range of variants and consistently uniform door appearance are particularly impressive in commercial construction. With its attractive thick rebate and many other design features, it even cuts a fine figure in the office. NovoPorta Premio fire doors have been developed in accordance with the European product standard EN 16034 for doors with fire protection and/or smoke control properties. For various reasons, EN 16034 does not yet apply to interior doors. This is why Novoferm was the first manufacturer of sheet steel fire doors to obtain a European Technical Assessment (ETA). This is currently an official certification for interior doors with fire protection requirements in all countries within the EOTA organisation and also includes the CE marking based on it
.

Whether as an EI2 30, EI2 60 or EI2 90 fire protection, sound insulation, multi-purpose or security door - the Premio offers all options. With its high-quality traffic white powder coating, a wide range of available colours and a variety of designs that can also integrate the hinges if required, it always looks great. Thanks to the innovative, bonded box/cover connection, a NovoPorta Premio not only looks extremely stable and of high quality: visible weld seams are a thing of the past. The wide variety of visual, design and installation advantages make the NovoPorta Premio exactly your door - the door for all requirements.

Cosy thick rebate
NovoPorta Premio multifunctional steel doors were developed specifically for the European market. The doors are ideal for all requirements in modern property construction thanks to their consistently sophisticated appearance with high-quality thick rebate and a 64 mm thick door leaf.

High functionality
NovoPorta Premio steel doors with high-quality thick rebate are available as fire protection (up to EI2 90), smoke protection, security (up to RC 4), sound insulation (up to RW = 53 dB), multi-purpose and even bullet-resistant doors (FB 4, VPAM 6) - for a uniform door appearance throughout the property.

Many assembly advantages
With the door series, you can choose from many quick, easy and clean assembly methods and frame backfilling options (rebate screw assembly, backfilling with fire protection foam, ideal drywall solutions, frames with factory-fitted fire protection, etc.).

DIE NOVOPORTA PREMIO VERMITTELT

The NovoPorta Premio conveys visual consistency throughout the property
With a thick rebate and flush centre hinge (1), the doors are always presentable. Their cosy appearance makes them suitable not only for commercial buildings, but also for office environments. A variety of attractive hinge options (2) and a wide range of designs also offer completely new design possibilities.

Regardless of their function as fire protection, sound insulation, security or multi-purpose doors, all doors can be designed to look the same. This appealing door look can therefore be used throughout the entire property, which is why the Premio is particularly advantageous in the property sector.

The Premio can also be enhanced with components such as the attractive fittings (3), but also with RAL colours of your choice and individual designs. The result is a harmonious door unit that is supported by the universal 2140B frame (4).

TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS

TECHNISCHE HIGHLIGHTS

EN 1634 - EN 16034 - EN 14351

NovoPorta Premio - The door that fulfils EU requirements
We have developed the Premio door specifically for the European market, which is why it not only fulfils German standards and quality benchmarks, but also European standards. The basis for placing construction products on the market in Europe is the Construction Products Regulation. If a construction product has a harmonised product standard or a European Technical Assessment (ETA) based on a European Assessment Document (EAD), these construction products can be CE-marked and placed on the European market. EN 16034 applies to fire doors and the European product standard EN 14351-1 applies to external doors.

This means that CE labelling is possible for external doors with fire protection requirements as an official confirmation of usability that is valid throughout Europe. As EN 14351-2 (future product standard for interior doors) is not yet in force, such CE labelling for interior doors with fire protection is not yet possible. Novoferm has closed this gap by obtaining a European Technical Assessment (ETA) for interior fire doors. The ETA is based on the European Assessment Document (EAD), which was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. On the basis of this ETA, CE labelling is therefore also possible for this type of door. Last but not least, the Premio MZ multi-purpose doors have also been tested in accordance with EN 14351-1 (for external doors). As a result, all types of Premio doors have CE labelling and can therefore be used in almost all European countries.

(1) Design and thick rebate impress
With a 64 mm thick and noticeably stiffer door leaf, the Premio not only scores points in the background. Its ultra-modern design and the attractive thick rebate (1), which is consistently implemented up to the EI2 90 variant, also give it the necessary charm for the office environment.

(2) Function meets design - even with the hinges
Whether it's a wide range of options or plenty of scope for design - our approach with hinges screwed to the door leaf (2) simply offers more. Slimline contract, robust standard or finely adjustable 3D hinges (optionally in steel or stainless steel) make the NovoPorta Premio a real "piece of jewellery". The huge range of available colours and designs completes the picture.

Uniform outfit throughout the property
The platform concept of the NovoPorta Premio allows you to equip your entire property with a single door series - regardless of performance features and equipment requirements. The result is a uniform door look throughout the property.

Less is more: more attractive thanks to concealed details
Thanks to their sophisticated design with flush centre stop, all double-leaf Premio doors up to the highly complex EI2 90 design do not require an attached centre muntin bar. A real gain for the appearance. (3)

The same applies to details such as barrier-free threshold variants with concealed, lowerable floor seals. These are perfect for installation in escape and rescue routes in single or - for particularly high sound insulation requirements - double versions. A wide range of available optional extras, fittings (4) and locking variants enable every Premio to be fitted in a legally compliant and visually appealing way.

Changing the door leaf made easy
Another advantage of the Premio platform concept is that if, for example, a door leaf needs to be changed from EI2 30 to EI2 60 or even EI2 90 in the event of a change of use, this can be easily carried out up to a BRM height of 2,125 mm (= 2,083 mm LD (clear passage)). Identical hinges as well as the number and installation position of the locking pins make this possible without having to replace the frame, provided the frame backfill matches the new fire protection class.

The new NovoPorta Premio: First choice for every property!

ATTRACTIVE DUE TO SIMPLE DESIGN

The NovoPorta Premio also offers an attractive design in all double-leaf models - right up to the complex EI2 90 elements. The centre muntin bar with flush-mounted centre stop is neatly integrated into the passive sash.

Regardless of additional anti-panic locks, bolt contacts or electric strikes:
The centre transom corresponds reliably with practically any desired locking variant.

Functionality

Automated doors
As the NovoPorta Premio also enables more specialised designs such as automatic doors with swing leaf drive and safety sensor strips, it is particularly attractive for barrier-free construction, for example in accordance with DIN 18040.

Escape and rescue doors
EN 1125:2008 and EN 179 stipulate how doors in escape and rescue routes or emergency exits must be equipped. Whether handle bar, push bar or functional locks, the NovoPorta Premio fulfils all requirements here too.

BENDING AND BREAKING - THE PREMIO KEEPS ITS SHAPE EVEN UNDER THE TOUGHEST CONDITIONS

The Premio is also in a class of its own when it comes to security classes, which define what resistance should look like under which circumstances. The current European standards for burglary protection EN 1627 - EN 1630 have been in force since 2011 and are divided into classes RC 1 - RC 6. These security classes are based on the following procedure: A fictitious burglar analyses the door plans for possible weak points; once he starts to break in, time runs out. The higher the RC class, the more powerful the tool that can be used.

RESISTANCE CLASS RC 3, RESISTANCE TIME 5 MINUTES*
A burglar uses two screwdrivers, various hand tools (small hammer, mechanical drill etc.) and a cow's foot to gain easier access due to the stronger leverage. The drilling tool can be used to attack vulnerable locking devices, for example. In addition to tool set A2 (screwdriver, pliers, saw, wedges, etc.), the test procedure uses another, even more powerful tool: tool set A3. For example, a cow foot for levering, a second screwdriver, a small hammer and a mechanical drill are permitted.

NEW:
Resistance class RC 4, resistance time 10 minutes*

INVITINGLY BEAUTIFUL - AND QUITE RESISTANT NEW UP TO RC 4

"Safety first" - this sums up the character of the Premio with burglar-resistant security features. The perfect interplay of security and aesthetics shows that the NovoPorta Premio is in top form all round. Whether increasing burglary rates, growing IT security requirements or the indispensable fire, smoke or noise protection - with the Premio you are equipped for all eventualities, not only in the property sector.

What good is the strongest security door if the easier way is straight through the wall?
The NovoPorta Premio is therefore available in both single and double-leaf versions with burglar-resistant RC 2 and RC 3 security features - not only tested and approved for standard masonry, concrete and aerated concrete walls, but also up to RC 3 for installation in burglar-resistant stud walls.

Thebig advantage:
The door is just as stable as the "surroundings". This means that the Premio also fulfils the requirements of the burglary protection class with regard to the wall: From the hinge bolt pull-out protection to the security fitting with cylinder cover, the drill-protected profile cylinder and the screw locks with hammer-in stars - everything is suitable for quick installation in burglary protection installation walls. And what you see of it also looks very good.

NEW is now also a solid 1-leaf Premio RC 4 design, which is also optionally available as a fire door in EI2 30 and EI2 60. The Premio RC 4 is also available with smoke and sound insulation functions, as well as an optional external fire door and numerous equipment options.

NEW: RC 3-GLAZING

The use of impact-resistant glazing in accordance with DIN EN 356 is standard for burglar-resistant doors. In addition to the minimum P4A glazing required for RC 2, all Premio RC 3 designs can now also be fitted with corresponding P5A security glass. This glass is also available in conjunction with the fire protection classifications EI2 30, EI2 60 and EI2 90.

As an option, however, you can also opt for break-through-resistant and burglar-proof special glass in P8B, in conjunction with an additional anti-panic function if required, for burglary protection class RC 2 - including greater perceived security. In addition, the glazing beads on the hazard side of all burglar-resistant glass are secured against unscrewing or levering out.

* The specified time reflects the pure processing time of the doors. The time is only measured from the moment the first tool is applied. As the resistance class increases, a.) the required resistance time is extended and b.) the permitted tool sets become increasingly powerful.

MORE QUALITY OF LIFE AND WORK IN BUILDINGS WITH EFFECTIVE SOUND INSULATION

Noise disturbs, distracts and reduces well-being as well as performance. This is why protection against environmental noise is one of the most important requirements and quality features in the construction industry. Sound transmission from neighbouring rooms in the audible frequency range of 16 Hz to 16,000 Hz can be efficiently reduced. The human ear perceives a reduction in sound level of 10 dB(A) as a halving of the volume. With up to 40 dB RwP, the Premio also shows its class when it comes to sound insulation.

Not all rooms are the same, and not all doors are the same - which is why the sound insulation requirements are regulated depending on the external noise level and room utilisation. All the minimum requirements defined here must be fulfilled by the contractor, even if they are not specifically mentioned. Depending on the construction project, however, a client may also have higher requirements for sound insulation. So it's all the better that the Premio already has impressive sound insulation values as standard. The sound insulation of a building component is made up of a large number of influencing factors. The door element is a unit made up of many individual components such as the frame, door leaf, seals, panelling, fittings, etc.

In total, therefore, none of these elements may have deficits, as otherwise it is impossible to achieve a high sound insulation value. Sound transmission through neighbouring components such as walls, ceilings and floors must also be taken into account in accordance with EN ISO 140. In the NovoPorta Premio with sound insulation features, all elements of the door system (door leaf, frame and high-quality seals) are specially matched to each other. With up to 40 dB RwP (with our special Premio sound insulation type DB-1 type 50 even up to 50 dB RwP), a Premio with only one drop-down, threshold-free bottom seal demonstrably reduces the perceived noise pollution in buildings. If a double drop-down, threshold-free floor seal is used, the sound insulation increases to 43 dB RwP.

As a testing institute determines the sound reduction index under laboratory conditions, a retention factor of 5 dB is usually taken into account for adaptation to the actual building situation.

SMOKE PROTECTION SAVES LIVES

When there are casualties in fire disasters, this is usually the result of heavy smoke development. Toxic fumes increase the risk of suffocation many times over compared to burning. A carbon monoxide content of just 0.8 % in the room air can lead to sudden death. It is therefore important to contain the smoke at an early stage, to prevent it from spreading through corridors or stairwells and to seal off rooms so that they are smoke-tight.

Smoke protection systems with Premio generation doors provide effective protection against dangerous smoke. As European standards are becoming increasingly important, Premio smoke protection doors are already tested not only in accordance with the German standard, but of course also in accordance with the European test standard EN 1634-3.

Steel doors with additional equipment can be tested in accordance with EN 1634-3 at room temperature as tight-closing (Sa) or at a temperature of 200 °C as smoke protection doors (S200). The latter corresponds to the currently valid German standard DIN 18095. Premio doors remain tightly sealed even at high temperatures and the associated stress on the door elements.

Even in the standard version, a Premio smoke protection door is always supplied with an overhead door closer, special sealing systems including a lowerable smoke-tight floor seal (RS 1) or, on request, a cusp threshold (RS 2). A selection of tested glazing variants is also available as an option.

Smoke detectors, e.g. in combination with hold-open systems, must be triggered in an emergency. The operator of a smoke and fire door is liable for this (so-called fire closure). Regular maintenance is mandatory in many countries in order to avoid high levels of damage to property and personal injury - especially with regard to damage that cannot be recognised from the outside. In Germany, for example, this is regulated by DIN 14677. This may only be carried out by qualified specialist personnel, e.g. the Novoferm service team.

TAPE TYPES

ONE DOOR, FIVE HINGES, ALL OPTIONS

Fire protection doors are heavy - not only in terms of their importance for safety, but also with regard to the door leaves. Not an easy task for the hinges, which nevertheless have to keep the doors smooth-running, attractive and finely adjustable from an installation perspective.

(1)

(2)

(3)

(4)

Novoferm offers four different hinge variants for the new Premio doors:
The attractive, slimline Premio project hinges (1) made of stainless steel are characterised by their particularly delicate appearance. They are always designed as a 3D hinge variant. The three-part standard hinges (2) + (3) are available in either steel or stainless steel. These are easy to install and smooth-running thanks to the ball bearing ring. The high-quality 3D hinges (4), which are also available in steel or stainless steel, can be adjusted with particular precision. Like all other hinges, they are generally screwed to the door leaf. If necessary, they can also be replaced without having to replace the entire door leaf.

DESIGN AND COLOUR

DESIGN AND COLOUR

THE PREMIO BRINGS COLOUR TO THE OBJECT

Doors create an inviting entrance. This is why Novoferm attaches great importance to a high-quality impression, even with the traffic white powder coating. In addition, a wide range of RAL colours of your choice invite you to set further harmonious accents, which also give a building its unmistakable character.

An exclusive look with sophisticated Novoferm technology - the result is a harmonious overall appearance that is sure to impress onlookers. Doors can be almost visually integrated into the wall, with a huge variety of design options.

The high-quality Novoferm primer in traffic white (similar to RAL 9016) already looks very attractive on delivery. Many building owners find it so visually appealing that traffic white is the colour of choice in installation situations where there is no risk of corrosion. Of course, almost all RAL colours are available on request. At Novoferm, this variety consists of the door leaf, frame look and the hinges, which can be designed as a unit or each in a different colour.

This creates a perfect interplay between appearance and security that is impressive in every respect.

C 5-STRESSTEST BEWEIST QUALITÄT - 200.000 MAL

NOVOFERM QUALITY IN THE STRESS TEST
A fire and / or smoke protection door must ensure a secure room closure in the event of an emergency and prevent the passage of smoke or fire. To achieve this, it is imperative that the door closes all the way into the frame in an emergency. To ensure this, the "durability of self-closing" must be tested in accordance with EN 1191 and classified in accordance with EN 13501-2. All doors in the Premio range have been tested by independent material testing institutes as a unit consisting of door leaf, frame and fittings in the most demanding category C 5. At least 200,000 opening and closing cycles simulate a service life of around 20 years in fast motion.

After this endurance test, the Premio doors naturally continue to fulfil all requirements for gap dimensions and expansion joints - exactly as specified by the European test standards for fire protection (EN 1634-1) and smoke protection (EN 1634-3).
