Novoferm is presenting the new DCC 80 operator system for industrial doors at BAU 2023. The DC technology combines many advantages of different drive and control types, making it a particularly efficient solution for sectional doors. As one of Europe's leading suppliers of loading and logistics systems, the company focuses on complete solutions from a single source and, with the Direct Current Commercial 80, offers a powerful operator that matches its industrial sectional doors - developed and produced in Germany.
Advantages of DC technology
The new industrial door operator system from Novoferm offers a high level of safety and convenience thanks to direct current technology. The option of equipping it with all emergency operation variants, emergency hand chain, crank or quick release, guarantees manual operation in the event of malfunctions or power failure. The self-learning force detection system recognises obstacles immediately and the door reverses automatically. The soft start and soft stop also ensure quiet, gentle and long-lasting operation of the door. The speed of the operator is also variable.
Quick installation and simple programming
Compared to conventional operator systems, the new DCC 80 requires up to 30 minutes less installation time, as no additional safety devices such as closing edge safety devices, slack rope switches and spiral cables are required for door areas of up to 10.5 m2. Programming can be carried out either with the "EasySet Up & Service App" via the optional Bluetooth dongle or conventionally using the buttons on the control unit. The integrated installation assistant makes commissioning even easier.
Suitable for all sectional door types
The DCC 80 is compatible with all sectional door types (40/60/80 mm) from Novoferm. It can also be used with all standard hardware types from standard hardware to high-lift hardware (H), vertical hardware (V) and low lintel hardware. Existing drives can be easily replaced by the new model at any time. The DCC 80 is particularly suitable for smaller sectional doors up to a size of approx. 3,250 x 3,250 mm. Up to 20 m² door area is possible with a maximum door weight of 260 kg.
Visitors to BAU 2023 will be able to get a first impression of the new DCC 80 operator system. It will be available in the Novoferm configurator in the fourth quarter of 2023.
