Thanks to the flush door rebate (1) and newly developed frame, the NovoPorta Plano offers an appealingly smooth, flush design. As it is supplied without a floor recess as standard, the Plano can be installed very late in the construction process, which has many advantages. The recessed foaming strip also contributes to the attractive visual effect of the Plano.

Promise a lot and deliver everything: The hinges (2) of the NovoPorta Plano are robust, slim and of a simple design. As a 3D-adjustable version, they are a standard feature of this door concept. They allow the door leaf to be aligned easily and perfectly with narrow joints. And because good looks are so important, we supply the hinges galvanised as standard, alternatively painted in the RAL colour of your choice or optionally in high-quality stainless steel.

In the double-leaf version, a flush centre hinge (3) is part and parcel of a planned door concept. This is standard with the NovoPorta Plano, as with the NovoPorta Premio door series. The same applies to the highly flexible configurability with all options for commercial construction. With Plano, it is also possible to choose from a wide range of options and additional equipment and to customise the doors precisely to your requirements.

A steel door for exclusive architecture has to offer a lot visually. The NovoPorta Plano is therefore already equipped with attractive details as standard. These include, for example, elegant and robust rose fittings made of glossy PVC-U (4). There is also a large selection of hardware variants made of light metal or stainless steel with different designs and functions. And because we believe that a door should also look good when open, we supply the Plano with a high-quality mortise lock with a stainless steel faceplate.

SECURITY EQUIPMENT
Not every visitor is welcome. Plano offers protection. The number of break-ins involving theft, vandalism or sabotage has risen by around 50 % in recent years. This not only affects private homes, but also public buildings and companies. NovoPorta Plano has something to counter this: Class RC2 resistance. ¹)

During the test procedure, the wedges or the screwdriver can be driven in with a rubber mallet to simulate corresponding blows by hand. Otherwise, the following tools are available: 1 screwdriver, 1 pipe wrench, 1 extension steel pipe, various plastic/wood wedges and various saws (wood, blade and hacksaw).

The specified time reflects the pure processing time of the doors. The time is only measured from the moment the first tool is applied.

As the resistance class increases:

• the required resistance time is extended and
• the permitted tool sets become more powerful.

Single and double-leaf Novo-Porta Plano doors are equipped with all kinds of security technology: such as the hinge bolt pull-out protection, security fittings, a cylinder cover and drill-proof profile cylinder.

A burglar-resistant wall connection is also provided - not only in the usual masonry and concrete walls, but also in aerated concrete walls, including the necessary pressure-resistant frame backfillings.

Noise reduction of up to 42 dB
Increasing noise pollution is a growing problem these days. In public buildings and companies, permissible noise immissions have long been regulated by law.

DIN 4109 only specifies minimum requirements here. During the development of Plano, particular attention was paid to protection against noise from outside and protection against noise penetrating to the outside. As a result, we were able to integrate noise insulation of 38 dB into the Plano without a threshold, e.g. for barrier-free use - and even up to 42 dB with a stop threshold.

Both values are just as attractive as the flush-mounted design of the NovoPorta Plano.

Smoke protection saves lives
Just three breaths in a smoke-filled room can be enough to render a person unconscious. It is therefore reassuring that the NovoPorta Plano not only protects against flames, but also against smoke ingress.

Today, the Plano fulfils the high requirements of DIN 18095 and even those of the European EN 1634-3.

NovoPorta Plano is available in single and double-leaf versions in customisable sizes up to 2,500 x 2,500 mm, and even 2,500 x 3,500 mm in combination with top sections. The concealed 3D hinges allow Plano doors, including the frame, to literally merge with the wall. Everything is on a single level.

The optionally available integrated overhead door closers (Geze Boxer or dormakaba ITS96) are concealed in the door leaf and frame.

They are virtually invisible when the door is closed, making them ideal for high-quality property construction with flush-fitting door designs on the outside.

This internationally recognised usability certificate officially documents the suitability of the Plano as a fire protection door, and the different national regulations no longer have to be taken into account. A Plano can therefore be installed in all 25 EOTA countries.

Protection against fire and its effects affect people all over the world. Plano has been designed to fulfil not only strict standards such as DIN 4102 and DIN EN 1634, but also the forthcoming European product standard EN 16034. All relevant approvals and classification reports are available. A Plano therefore also looks excellent in the fire test.

A fire breaks out somewhere in the world every four seconds, with around eight million fires a year. The number of victims is high and the economic damage amounts to billions.
